MY PARTNER and I have a company in the telecoms industry.

We heard about the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and would like to inquire about how it works. Also, does it offer part-time courses?

The AMP focuses on training small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) bosses and key management through postgraduate and executive development courses.

The programme is part of Spring Singapore's Business Leaders Initiative, a comprehensive effort to upgrade the management capability within SMEs, both present and future.

Offered at leading local universities, these courses offer flexibility to suit the busy schedules of the participants. Some modules are conducted over one to two weeks every few months while others require longer-term commitment.

You can select the course that best suits your schedule.

Through AMP, you will gain an in-depth understanding of new trends in business management as well as relevant, practical skills that you can quickly apply.

Institutes of Higher Learning with recognised local-based courses are supported with a one-time curriculum development grant for customised courses for SMEs, as well as cover up to 50 per cent of operating costs for each intake. Eligible SMEs will pay subsidised fees.

Do note the fees will be kept affordable for only a limited period. Course fees range from $7,650 to $40,000 per participant.

For more information, please visit www.spring.gov.sg/bl or call the EnterpriseOne hotline on 6898-1800.
