HMI, appointed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), is the first CET centre for the Therapy Services and Healthcare Support sectors.

Programmes will be conducted  under the Singapore Workforce Skills Development System targeted to help mid-career switchers and job seekers to enter the sector. More than 2000 workers are expected to be trained comprising either new entrants or current employees seeking to upgrade their skills.

To enhance its relevance, HMI is exchanging Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to 12 local employers to provide trainees clinical attachments during the training, as well as to offer placements to trainees.
