SingTel's CFO to quit in Sept

GROUP Chief Financial Officer of Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) Francis Heng Hang Song will quit on Sept 1, the telco announced on Friday.

He will be replaced by Ms Jeann Low Ngiap Jong, currently the Chief Financial Officer of Optus.

Ms Low, who assumes the new role on Sept 1, has been with the SingTel Group since 1998 and has served in various capacities including Executive Vice President (Strategic Investments) and Group Financial Controller.

She will continue with her current role as CFO of Optus.

SingTel's Group CEO, Ms Chua Sock Koong, said of Ms Low's appointment: 'We are pleased to appoint Jeann to the Group CFO role. She brings significant financial expertise, broad industry experience and a strong track record to her new appointment.'
