The National Research Foundtion (NRF) on Thursday announced that it will be seeding six new venture funds to the tune of $10 million each to invest in Singapore-based early-stage start-ups.

The fund managers selected include Raffles Venture Partners, Tamarix Capital and Walden International.

Under the scheme launched by the National Framework for Innovation and Enterprises in March, the selected venture capital firms are each required to raise a matching sum of at least $10 million from third party investors.
