New training for private bankers

by Grace Ng

THE Wealth Management Institute (WMI) yesterday launched a new advanced programme for experienced private bankers to hone their skills.

The programme fills a 'training gap' between the WMI's two existing courses - a Master of Science in Wealth Management and a certificate in private banking.

Wealth management professionals can undertake a modular course that hones skills in specific areas such as trusts, real estate investment and alternative investments.

The WMI was conceived in 2003 by Temasek Holdings chief executive Ho Ching and Mr Ng Kok Song of the GIC.
