1 woman, 2 dogs and a bunny

IF THERE'S a word to describe Candy Kang's wares, 'happy' would be it.

The founder of G.O.D. Advertising, with seven international advertising awards under her belt, Candy also runs Whitedogbobby.com, a site particularly favoured by young and hip executives. It retails everything from pins and T-shirts to tote bags and notebooks - all with images of two dogs and a bunny.

The cutesy canines are Bobby and Hungry, and bunny is named Wabbit.

Describing herself as 'God by day and dog by night', the wacky Candy, who's known for wearing a furry hat in the shape of a dog's head, put up the site in 2006.

'It started with some stories I wrote. I wanted to share my tales, and the stuff that are sold are spin offs from my stories,' said the 32-year-old.

Already, the graduate from the famous art and design school, Central St. Martins, has made her own mark in the international scene, with her works displayed in galleries in cities like Perth and Tokyo. Although she also sells her products in stores like Asylum and White Room, famous for peddling edgy cult street wear, Candy feels that her site is the best way to snag customers.

'I want worldwide reach, plus I don't have the time and money for a physical shop. This is the best way to spread the joy of my creation,' said Candy.

This laugh-a-minute character admits that it takes lots of dedication to maintain the site.

She joked: '(My) two dogs are such slave drivers they won't let me rest.'

But the site is not bread and butter, and the art guru is just glad to have broken even.
