CHANG'S BIODATA

WHO: Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Mr Oscar Chang is 47 years old.

EDUCATION: Mr Chang graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science and information engineering from National Taiwan University.

He went on to do his master's degree in computer science at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

CAREER: Mr Chang started a software company called Diamond Ware with a group of friends after graduation.

He later joined Trend Micro as a research-and-development engineer in 1993, and then became a project manager, responsible for the Trend Micro-Intel alliance programme.

He is now the chief development officer of Trend Micro's Global Research and Development division, and the company's executive vice-president for the Asia-Pacific.
