Despite the company's relatively short nine-year history, CPC has already established an active presence in major oil producing regions of the world.

Headquartered in Singapore, CPC has operational bases spanning four continents, with offices in Australasia, Brazil, India, Malaysia, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.

To date, CPC has completed over 50 projects in nearly 30 countries.

The company has delivered close to four million tonnes of pipes comprising over 4,000km of pipelines up to 106cm in diameter.

In addition to pipes, the company also transports items typically used in offshore projects such as jackets, modules and turrets for clients.

In 2007, the company's revenue exceeded $40 million. Last year, its revenue more than doubled that amount.

'CPC's revenue for FY2008 approximated $100 million. For financial year 2009, despite the global economic downturn in the first half of the year, we are looking to achieve similar figures,' says Mr Alvin Lim, CPC's managing director.

'The cornerstone of our success lies in our ability to innovate and find a better, more cost- and time effective and efficient way to perform any given offshore transportation task for our clients without comprising on safety and performance,' he adds.

CPC's record is impeccable. The company has a sound reputation in the industry for delivering a 100 per cent accident-free safety record and a proven track record of on-time delivery every time.

'Our standard of performance is simple - excellence in everything we do,' says Mr Lim.

At the heart of CPC is its human resources. The compact team of 44 employees hails from 15 different nations, comprising a mix of experienced industry veterans as well as enthusiastic young talent.

'We believe that a diverse workforce can help the company build and expand our foundation of experience, knowledge and skills, which in turn, enable us to understand, relate and respond better to CPC's global client base,' says Mr Lim.

'This is also what drives our philosophy of 'Innovation backed by Experience and Performance', as CPC benefits from the innovation, ingenuity and global thinking that result when people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives work together in a team,' he adds.

The company's long-term expansion plan is to develop and maintain a presence in all robust and expanding offshore oil and gas markets.

'Moving forward, we have plans to strengthen our presence in the Middle East, as we see continued development of existing offshore oil deposits and exploitation of untapped reserves in the Gulf region, not to mention the fact that the Persian Gulf's North Field is the largest gas field in the world,' says Mr Lim.

'We are also in the midst of broadening our reach in Australasia and will actively explore opportunities to further establish our foothold in Asia,' he adds.
