Will IR jobs unwanted by S'poreans go to foreigners?

THE integrated resorts (IR) are meant to be a source of jobs for Singaporeans.

How many Singaporeans have been placed in IR jobs through referrals from the Employment and Employability Institute?

Also, what if there are not enough Singaporeans to take up the jobs? Will the rest then be offered to foreigners?

Should this be the case, would the employment quota on the number of foreign workers be maintained?

I hope the IRs would be able to answer these questions as Marina Bay Sands has said that its objective is to hire as many Singaporeans as possible.

Resorts World Sentosa has also stated that it expects the bulk of its 10,000 jobs, when it opens, to go to Singaporeans.
