Housing Board customers will now have a convenient, one-stop access to a range of HDB's services using their mobile devices.

The HDB launched the mobile version of HDB InfoWeb - one of three website winners in the inaugural Singapore Government Web Excellence Award 2009 - today.

Users can now visit Mobile@HDB {mobile.hdb.gov.sg) for a wide array of HDB services.

For instance, buyers who are looking to buy a new flat can now check for the results of their sales application, the flats that are available for selection, and also check on the probable completion dates of their new flats.

Resale flat buyers, meanwhile, can now check on resale transaction prices on the go. They can also check on the ethnic quota, work out a financial plan, and the distance between HDB blocks to qualify for CPF housing grants for living close to parents/children.

Residents are also able to check the status of HDB's upgrading/estate renewal programme, or loan eligibility.

HDB customers can also catch the latest HDB news and events and discover the best variety in shops and eating outlets among HDB heartland shops.

Mrs Cheong Koon Hean, HDB CEO said: "At HDB, we are constantly innovating and adopting the latest technologies to serve our customers better. With more and more people using mobile devices, we see Mobile@HDB as an important value adding service to our residents and customers. From buying a new flat to looking for a place to shop or eat, you can now get the latest updates and information on the go. We would also like our customers to give us their feedback on the new mobile applications, as this will help us to further improve our services."
