STI higher at midday

SINGAPORE shares were higher at 2,692.52 points at midday on Monday.

The benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) was up by 8.96 points, or 0.33 per cent.

About 804 million shares were traded.

Losers beat gainers 200 to 155.
