Osim irons out kinks, posts $7m profit

STRONG demand for massage chairs across Asia gave Osim International a much-needed lift in the third quarter.

The company has also become leaner, with more efficient operations, while underperforming outlets have been closed.

It all helped to cement the company's turnaround from a $7 million loss in the third quarter last year to a $7 million net profit for the three months ended Sept 30.
