PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which is in charge of collapsed U.S. bank Lehman Brothers' main European operations, is preparing a new claim of $90 billion (S$124.9 billion) against the U.S. parent of the failed bank, the Financial Times said, citing a PwC report to creditors.

The total claims by Lehman's European arm against various Lehman entities globally is US$208 billion (S$288.7 billion), the paper said.

In the first year of working on the Lehman case, PwC has charged US$252.9 million in fees for work on the failed bank's winding up, the paper said citing the report.

PwC could not be immediately reached for comment by Reuters outside of regular business hours.

Lehman's collapse in September 2008 trapped the assets of thousands of its clients around the world. Administrators have since been assessing the claims of creditors.
