SINGAPORE investor Temasek Holdings said it planned to make an offering of US dollar-denominated bonds due in 2019.
The benchmark-sized issue has been rated AAA by Standard & Poor's and Aaa by Moody's Investors Service. Deutsche Bank , Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are the joint bookrunners.
"The bonds will be issued in the near future, subject to market conditions," Temasek said in a media release.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the size of the bond offer hasn't been set but is likely to be around US$1 billion.
The new securities will be issued under Temasek's US$5 billion guaranteed global medium-term note programme, the statement said. Temasek Financial Ltd will sell the bonds and Temasek Holdings will guarantee them.
