CITIGROUP has raised its forecast for the Singapore economy.

Its economists are now predicting that the country's gross domestic product for the full year to fall by just 2.7 per cent, instead of 5 per cent.

This is in contrast to the Singapore Government's projection of between 4 per cent and 6 per cent.
