Temasek reaches out to needy

TEMASEK Holdings on Thursday launched Temasek Cares, an Institute of Public Character, which will focus on supporting the community in Singapore.

Temasek commited an endowment of $100 million to Temasek Trust, which will manage the money for Temasek Cares.

Each year, Temasek Cares will disburse $2 million. The money will go to programmes offered by charities.
