HONG KONG, June 4 (Reuters) - Two former senior UBS bankers in Asia joined Credit Suisse Group AG to help the rival Swiss bank boost its equity derivatives business, Credit Suisse said on Thursday.

Ken Pang and Min Park, who previously led the Asian equity derivatives business at UBS, joined Credit Suisse as co-heads of equity derivatives and convertibles for the Asia-Pacific region, Credit Suisse said in an emailed statement.

Pang and Park would be based in Hong Kong, reporting to Osama Abbasi, Credit Suisse's head of equities for Asia-Pacific, the bank said.

Pang will be responsible for the trading of equity derivatives and convertibles, while Park will focus on the sales of related products.
