THE Singapore Aviation Academy or SAA, has extended collaboration with a US counterpart in the area of specialised aviation training and development.

The training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) on Tuesday inked a Memorandum of Understanding with MITRE Aviation Institute (MAI), to increase cooperation in areas such as aviation safety and air navigation service provision.

CAAS Director-General and CEO Lim Kim Choon, who witnessed the signing, said the MOU demonstrates both parties' commitment to promoting international human capital development in aviation.
