Customers from the Asia-Pacific region shipping to the Middle East can now look forward to shorter delivery times for their shipment.
FedEx Express today announced the expansion of its network coverage from Asia to markets in the Middle East, providing significant service improvements to meet increasing business demand.
With this expansion, FedEx products such as International Economy, International Priority, International Economy Freight shipments originating from key Asia Pacific markets, like Singapore, to major Middle East countries can now enjoy transit improvements of up to two days.
Those shipping from the Middle East to Asia can also enjoy up to two days transit time improvement for IPF shipments.
The company is leveraging on the new - Guangzhou-Mumbai-Dubai-Delhi-Guangzhou - routing through the direct service between India and the FedEx Asia Pacific hub in Guangzhou, southern China.
"This latest route further enhances the operational strength of the FedEx international network by providing greater access to two of the fastest-moving markets in the world and supporting their economic development," said David Cunningham, Jr., president, Asia Pacific, FedEx Express.
