SPRING Singapore on Thursday announced a new initiative to help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to invest in technology innovation.

The Innovation Voucher Scheme, which will give up to $5,000 each to eligible SMEs, aims to encourage them to tap on the knowledge-base of Spring-funded centres of innovation.

In all, $2.25 million will be given out over three calls this year, and each call will benefit 150 SMEs.
