Create factory jobs for seniors

I REFER to the letter, 'Is old still gold for Singapore employers?' (my paper, Jan 13).

As people are living longer, healthier lives, a retirement age of 62 is just not realistic.

I believe Singapore recognises this, and I am sure the Government will come up with a good solution.

Perhaps the Government could build factories, as it did in the 1970s, to create simple jobs for the uneducated and those in their 60s and 70s.
