KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian government is mulling over measures such as forcing companies to reserve jobs for locals, and to advertise all vacancies on its job website as it prepares for a wave of retrenchments next year.

Human Resources Minister S. Subramaniam said his ministry is also considering a national retrenchment fund to help displaced workers.
