Great service from UOB Card Centre

RECENTLY, there were some issues with my United Overseas Bank (UOB) credit-card bill and I wanted to clarify them with the bank.

Having read some reports about problems credit-card users have had with their issuing banks in Singapore, I was not hopeful for an easy resolution to mine.

As I was in Sydney, I had problems contacting the bank and wrote them an e-mail detailing the billing issue instead.

To my pleasant surprise, I received an e-mail the next day informing me how to contact the bank and solve the problem.

I had not expected this at all.

The matter was settled within 15 minutes when I spoke to a helpful staff member from the card centre, who attended to all my enquiries patiently.

A few options were also provided so that I could take the best decision to resolve the problem.

I was relieved and felt that I had been well-served throughout.

I want to thank the bank for its helpfulness and professionalism in dealing with the matter.

I have encountered similar problems and contacted other Singapore banks while living abroad, but it proved difficult to resolve the issues.

UOB Card Centre certainly deserves credit for a job well done - and even more so considering I was overseas.
