Computer glitch hits DBS

A THREE-HOUR computer glitch on Tuesday morning in DBS prevented its customers from making transactions at 70 DBS and POSB branches islandwide.

A DBS spokesman said that only the counters were affected; its ATM network and self-service machines remained operational, so customers could still withdraw and deposit funds.

The bank also allowed customers who needed urgent funds to withdraw money up to their personal withdrawal limit, on a case-by-case basis.
