How do consumers choose their credit cards?
If the result of AsiaOne's recent People's Choice award is any indication, it seems that consumers want to get something back when they spend using their card. The award, which recognises outstanding achievements and successful branding of products across industries in Asia, is based entirely on popularity votes cast by its fans and visitors.
With over eleven thousand votes cast to select the number one credit card, AsiaOne readers gave an overwhelming thumbs up to the POSB Everyday Card.

Rajan Raju, Managing Director & Head of DBS Consumer Banking Group, said: "POSB is widely recognised as The People's Bank. This award is especially meaningful because everyday Singaporeans have made POSB Everyday Card their credit card of choice."
Cardmembers can also look forward to exclusive rebates from POSB's partners like SPC, Carrefour, Watsons, SP Services, StarHub and Comfort Transportation. This is aside from instant cash rebates of up to 20 per cent for every dollar charged. What's more, the Daily$ don't expire!
Gladys Torrado, a 30-year-old homemaker, is quite happy with the reward she got from the card. She said: "We got a Samsonite bag because of their promo. It made using the card very worth it because the bag itself was worth over $200! So instead of spending that amount, we just kept charging to the POSB Everyday card and we were able to get it!"
