Use credit cards online and at AXS

I REFER to the letter, 'No credit-card payments for telco' (my paper, Feb 9).

We have contacted Mr Benny Tan and apologised to him for the delay in replying to his e-mail feedback.

To provide customers with greater convenience, we offer a wide range of bill-payment methods using cash, Nets, Giro, cheque, debit and credit cards at various locations islandwide.

Credit-card payments can be made 24/7 via 500 AXS machines located islandwide, SingTel myBill, vPost and Internet banking. As we understand it, 7-Eleven outlets accept payments via Nets, CashCard and cash.

Customers can also make their bill payments at SingPost outlets via Nets, cheque, CashCard, cash, cashier's order or bank draft.

As part of our ongoing process to improve operational efficiency, we ceased credit-card payment services at SingPost outlets in 2007.
