S$ falls to near 1-year low against US$

>THE Singapore dollar has fallen to near a one-year low against the United States dollar on concern that the global economy is headed for a recession, Bloomberg news reported.

It fell 0.8 per cent to S$1.4803 against the greenback as at 4.22pm Singapore time yesterday, from S$1.4686 late in Asia on Wednesday, said Bloomberg.
