HDB is launching the sale of 683 flats in various towns/estates under the Oct 2008 Half-yearly Sale of 3-room Premium, 4-room and Bigger Flats today.

The flat supply for this exercise comprises 33 units of 3-room Premium flats, 491 units of 4-room flats, 78 units of 5-room flats and 81 units of Executive flats. The flats are located in various towns/estates such as Sengkang, Punggol, Jurong West, Tampines, Bedok, Bukit Merah, etc.

Interested flat buyers may submit their applications online from today till October 16, 2008 (Thursday). Following the close of the one-week application period, HDB will conduct a computer ballot of all the submitted applications to determine the queue positions of the applicants.

Those who have missed the one-week application period can submit their applications online on October 17 2008 (Fri) from 8 am onwards. They will be given appointments to book a flat, on a first-come-first-served basis, after those who have earlier submitted their application within the initial one-week application period. Any flats unselected after all the appointments have been cleared will remain open for booking on a walk-in basis until 31 Jan 2009.

The balloting results will be released on November 5, 2008 (Wed) at 2 pm. Applicants who have given HDB their email address and/or handphone number will be informed of their balloted queue position through an email and/or a SMS. Alternatively, applicants can also refer to HDB's e-Sales website, notice boards at HDB Hub Sales Office, and branch offices or call Homelink for their queue positions.

Interested flat buyers can visit HDB's e-Sales website at www.hdb.gov.sg, or visit the Sales Office at HDB Hub, Toa Payoh.
