HDB launches 2 new projects under BTO system

HDB is launching two new housing projects under the Build-To-Order (BTO) System.

Damai Grove in Punggol town and Jade Spring @ Yishun were launched on Thursday. HDB said 1,122 new Standard flats, comprising 110 3-room and 1,012 4-room flats are offered under this sales exercise.

Situated at the junction of Punggol Road and Punggol Drive, Damai Grove has 738 flats, comprising 62 units of 3-room and 676 units of 4-room Standard flats.

HDB said Damai Grove is near commercial facilities such as a supermarket, an eating house, retail shops and a childcare centre. There are also educational institutions in the vicinity, such as Edgefield Primary, Mee Toh School, Greendale Secondary and Punggol Secondary.

Jade Spring @ Yishun, which is situated at the junction of Yishun Ring Road and Yishun Avenue 11, has 384 flats, comprising 48 units of 3-room and 336 units of 4-room flats.

Yishun Park, Safra Yishun Country Club and Orchid Country Club are located nearby, with the neighbourhood centre and Northpoint Shopping Centre in the vicinity as well.

With the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Yishun ready in 2010, HDB said residents would find it convenient to meet their healthcare needs. Educational institutions nearby include Northbrooks Secondary, Huamin Primary, as well as Northview Primary and Northview Secondary, it said.

Application for the flats is from Thursday to Jan 16. HDB will hold an exhibition at the Habitat Forum, HDB Hub during the application period.

Applicants' monthly household income ceiling for the purchase of the 3-room and 4-room Standard flats at Damai Grove and Jade Spring @ Yishun are $3,000 and $8,000. Applicants must also satisfy the other eligibility conditions such as citizenship, family nucleus and non-ownership of private property.
